Originally from Chicago, Katie has been working as an actor and teacher in NYC for the past 10 years. In addition to teaching at Stonestreet, she is also teaching on-camera technique at Pace University and MN Studios. She has been teaching mobile units on Shakespeare in classrooms across NYC with Stages on the Sound for the past five years. Katie is a proud volunteer of the 52 nd Street Project, an organization bringing arts to children living in Hell’s Kitchen.
