THE ARRIVAL Makes Waves with World Premiere at Martha’s Vineyard Women in Film Festival
THE ARRIVAL is a Tale of Boundaries, Identity, and the Human Spirit
Stonestreet Studios and Jamaad Pictures recently celebrated the world premiere of their latest feature film, THE ARRIVAL, at the Martha’s Vineyard Women in Film Festival on Sunday, October 15.
Outline: In the backdrop of a quiet afternoon at a popular Manhattan bar, THE ARRIVAL introduces an array of patrons, each wrestling with their own emotional, physical, or professional boundaries. The film takes viewers on a gripping journey as characters delve into the mysteries behind their own predicaments, urging them to ponder on their identities and future selves.
Director Alyssa Rallo Bennett on THE ARRIVAL
Director Alyssa Rallo Bennett shares her passion for the project, stating, "We all need an ‘arrival’ somewhere, somehow, away from something, or leading into something new. This film was a wonderful project that allowed its characters to grapple with that. Even on a modest COVID indie budget, directing this film felt like conducting an orchestra of fantastically stunningly different instruments both in front of and behind the camera."
Cast and Production Team
THE ARRIVAL was directed by Alyssa Rallo Bennett and written by Gary O. Bennett. The cast features Pooya Mohseni, Peter Bradbury, Nick Hamparyan, Daniela Urdaneta, Ines Ladha, Alice Heber Martins, Viv Helvajian, Nik Elrifi, and Deniz Bulat. With cinematography by Michael Munari, editing by Amelia Annen, and music by Dan Rufolo and Adam Kromelow, the film is a complete package.
Next Stop: Big Apple Film Festival
Following its world premiere, THE ARRIVAL is gearing up for its New York premiere at the Big Apple Film Festival on November 3.
